TFG Monthly Update #2

The Fashion Goth – Monthly Round Up #2

I’m aware I’ve been a really bad blogger this month! Amongst moving house and working away lots this month has literally just flown by and updating my site has been pushed to the back of my mind – so first of all I’m sorry for that!!

I might do a separate post on homewares and interiors soon, and show you some of my favourite corners of our new home! For now though, here’s a little peak into our living area ft Navy Velvet sofas that I am absolutely obsessed with!

Thank God it’s almost time for sweater season! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the summer weather – but I was not made for Summer dressing. Cover me up in cosy mohair jumpers, leather jackets and ankle boots NOW. When the September pay check comes rolling in I’m going to be looking for the perfect jumper, here’s a few I have my eye on:

1. Ganni 2. Balenciaga 3. MSGM 4. Alexander McQueen 5. Topshop

Brand New are potentially my favourite band – I could gladly listen to Deja Entendu & The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me on repeat for the rest of my life and still find them perfect from start to finish. So you might of expected me to have featured Science Fiction as my music obsession of the month (which I still absolutely do recommend)!, but then I heard Pvris cover Jesus Christ…

Last Week all the ladies in my family met up in London for a lovely meal at Coppa Club, near Tower Bridge. I 100% recommend booking in advance if you’re to try out this restaurant, and selecting the option to sit in the cabanas because this really made the experience! Look how pretty it is!! The food was really good too, and really reasonably priced. The menu is Italian influenced – think lots of fish, pastas & sour dough bread based pizzas!

Starting this little website was a really scary thing for me – sadly I care what people think, I’m my own harshest critic and I do not have the luxury of self confidence. This isn’t a ‘poor me’ moment, I’m just acknowledging the fact I’m actually quite proud of myself for putting my passions out there and occuping my mind with positivity and creativity, instead of the ‘what ifs’…

Moving forward I’m hoping to take this a little more seriously, staying on top of regular posting and always looking to improve the content I put out. I have an exciting holiday coming up in September of which I hope to create some posts from, and I will *hopefully* be attending London Fashion Week thanks to the blog, which is both surreal and extremely exciting!

Watch this space!
