Birthday Weekend

I turned 26 last weekend, and I wanted to share a diary style blog post from a few days away in London celebrating it.

We stayed at The Ace Hotel in Shoreditch; a ‘trendy’ and convenient space providing a good atmosphere and instagrammable interior. (The important things)! The staff we dealt with were all super friendly and the coffee from The Bulldog Edition in the lobby was the perfect start to our day.

Whilst in the area we decided to spend the afternoon looking around Brick Lane, Box Park and going to Swingers for some crazy golf and cocktails. The perfect date venue!

The main reason we came to London was because we are still 15 year old emo kids at heart and saw Panic! At the Disco were playing at the o2. Despite the fact they only played one song from A Fever you can’t sweat out, we had the best time!! Personal highlight was Dying in LA (& floating piano as below)! Brenden Urie you are divine.

Woke up and ‘accidentally’ dressed like Ozzy.

After a morning of shopping we headed to the Royal Academy of Arts to check out the ‘Renaissance Nude’ exhibition. I’d never been to this museum before, it’s such a beautiful building! And what better way to spend your birthday than looking at nudes….

Another year older, wiser.. and with a much better wardrobe 😉
